Hey there Kendall!
I’m Evelyn, and I’m thrilled to be part of this beautiful Kendall community. I was born and raised in Kendall and I’m proud to continue living my life here with my family.
I am a mother of two rambunctious boys with a whole lot of energy. I will be the first to admit that I have struggled with many aspects of parenting, which prompts most of my post.
One major struggle was accepting the love my boys had for reptiles. Never imagined my home would be a zoo of reptiles—bearded dragons, a Blue Panther chameleon, a Leopard Gecko, and tortoises.
I’m a licensed psychologist practicing in both the educational and private settings. Becoming a psychologist was no surprise to anyone who knew me. I’ve always been fascinated by the mind and how it works. Growing up, I would watch the way people around me behaved and wondered why they acted a certain way.
Fast forward 15 years, I still stay completely fascinated and intrigued with every case and how each child is different however unique and very special. One day I will be working with adolescents and their emotional needs, the next day conducting a psychological evaluation, and on another day running intervention groups. Every day is a different day!
I’m passionate about my work, my goal with every parent that contacts me is to make a long-lasting impact and provide the assistance the family needs, to see the progress and growth they are craving. My education and career have always focused on my love for working with children and families but in my spare time I am a community-driven person with hopes to make our society a more functional and supportive place.
Which is why I’m so excited to be a part of We Are Kendall, because I get to share my expertise and passion with my very own Kendall community.
