Hello! I am William “Bill” Lollis, born in Miami way back in 1951. My family moved to Kendall in 1967 and I’ve lived in Kendall most of my life. As you might imagine, there have been many changes in Kendall, as in Miami, in all that time. Occasionally I will talk about some of those changes, but I don’t like to dwell on the past too much.
I retired in 2011 after twenty-seven years as a teacher in the public school system. I have been fortunate enough to do quite a bit of traveling since then. After I retired I had the great pleasure of discovering the dog and cat rescue community. Rescue has become a real passion for me. I have been able to put rescue together with my other passion, nature photography, in a satisfying and rewarding way. You will be seeing some of my photos for sure, along with tips on how and where I got them. I look forward to hearing from animal and nature lovers along with all the photographers!
